Sunday, April 22nd - 10am - 11am
Gather with Others. Advocate for Science. Save the Planet.
Join us at the second March for Science on Sunday morning, April 22 at Victory Park. The one-hour march will start at 10 am to kick off the 30th Annual Earth Day Festival.
Show your support for Mother Earth. Give a shout out to science, technology, engineering and math.
Meet up at Earth Day stage area for a brief welcome. Then marchers will spread out on the sidewalk around Victory Park and do a "Chain Reaction.
We did the math … and we need 1034 people to complete the loop. Come out and be a link in this chain! We made it half way around last year ... and are determined to make it this year. Bring your family. Tell your friends.
Bring your own signs or make one that morning. There will be supplies on hand. We encourage schools and groups to pick themes, make up chants, and wear t-shirts or costumes. We will be awarding on stage recognition to the most thoughtful and creative entries.
The Earth Day festival will feature environmental and science-related booths, along with food, entertainment, and kid-friendly activities. Both events are at Victory Park.
